The Merchant App is a cloud-based mobile point-of-sale solution tailored for both merchants and individual users. It addresses the growing demand for a user-friendly mobile payment service that prioritizes ease, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.
Key features of the Merchant App include:
- Integration with existing card processor accounts such as Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, Braintree, BeanStreams, CardConnect, and Intuit (QuickBooks).
- The capability to scan cards directly from customers' wallets using mobile devices.
- Manual entry of card numbers for processing payments when necessary.
- Transaction processing without the need for additional hardware, allowing for payments anywhere and anytime.
- Robust security measures that utilize multi-layer security protocols and advanced encryption technologies.
- Comprehensive sales history tracking for all transactions made via the app.
- Options to add sales tax and include tips in transactions.
- Additional verification for PayApp Wallet users through zip code entry.
- Possibility to set a personal identification number (PIN) for secure access to the app.
- Restrictions against usage on jailbroken devices for enhanced security.
The Merchant App does not impose transaction or monthly fees on users, making it a cost-free option for merchants. Furthermore, it complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, ensuring security and trustworthiness.
An optional Premium Account is available through subscription, with payment processed via the user's iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Users can manage their subscriptions via their Account Settings after purchase.
